HPS Portugal was established in 2007 as a joint venture between the German SME HPS – High Performance Space Structure Systems GmbH and the Portuguese R&D institute INEGI – Instituto de Engenharia e Gestão Industrial. Today HPS shareholders include also private investors from Portugal.

Our main customer is the European Space Industry in general and the European Space Agency in particular. Through our own resources and with the help of our national and international network, HPS Portugal can cover the complete life-cycle of complex thermal and mechanical subsystems, from initial design and trade-offs until manufacture and environmental testing.

HPS Portugal foi criada em 2007 como uma joint venture entre aSME HPS Alemão – High Performance Estrutura Space Systems GmbH e o I&D Instituto Português INEGI – Instituto de Engenharia e Gestão Industrial. Hoje, os acionistas HPS incluem também investidores privados a partir de Portugal.

O nosso principal cliente é a Indústria Espacial Europeia em geral, em particular, a Agência Espacial Europeia. Através de nossos próprios recursos e com a ajuda da nossa rede nacional e internacional, HPS Portugal pode cobrir o ciclo de vida completo de subsistemas térmicos e mecânicos complexos, desde a conceção inicial e trade-offs até à fabricação e testes ambientais.
