In 1952, the company began operations with the installation of power lines of low, medium, high and very high voltage, in Portugal, Madeira e Azores. In the 60s the company had a significant growth and to mark the beginning of a works cycle in Africa and the enlargement of the activity, with the manufacture of metallic structures for electrical energy. In 2005, Pinto & Bentes started work in Ireland with the installation power lines of medium and high voltage and in 2009 is established in Algeria with the opening of a delegation.

Em 1952, a empresa iniciou a sua actividade com a instalação de linhas eléctricas de BT, MT e AT, em Portugal Continental e na Madeira e Açores. Na década de 60 a empresa já registava um crescimento significativo, sendo de assinalar o início de um ciclo de execução de obras em África e o alargamento da actividade, com a fabricação de estruturas metálicas para linhas de MT e AT e subestações. Em 2005 a Pinto & Bentes iniciou trabalhos na Irlanda com a construção de linhas MT e AT e em 2009 estabelece-se na Argélia com a abertura de uma delegação.
