On January 13 of 1989 the founders, António Brígido and Ana Maria Brígido, founded the company, Frigoríficos Brígido, Ltd. in Valverde Alcanede Portugal.
The company begins its activity in the industry of hospitality and general services, in which the “know-how” came from the previous company that existed by sole proprietorship. That same year the company decided to embark on a challenge that would forever change the course of the company and open up new horizons, Industrial aRefrigeration.
As challenges arise in the market a business opportunity reveals itself, Transport Refrigeration. In the 1990´s Frigoríficos Brígido, Ltd., alongside the prestigious brand Thermo King, reached another phase of great importance for the company, since the transport refrigeration industry is today one of most important worldwide.
Frigoríficos Brígido Ltd. occupies a prominent place in the national and international markets. Exporting to some European and African countries, please note of some important job sites on the African Continent; Saint Thomas and Prince and Cape Verde.
